The NeuroAffective Touch® Training welcomes mental health, somatic, and bodywork professionals. We welcome psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers, interns and students in these fields. We also welcome certified bodywork, massage, and somatic therapists, counselors, nurses, health practitioners, and coaches who wish to integrate body and mind in the resolution of emotional trauma and relational deficits.
Upon registering, please use the application form to describe your professional background. All applications will be reviewed as it is our goal to provide a safe and proficient learning environment for all students.
Professional Liability Insurance
For students practicing in the United States: Due to the nature of the NeuroAffective Touch® Training and for your own protection, students are required to carry professional liability insurance that specifically details the inclusion of massage, bodywork, or somatic work. If you do not have such insurance or your professional liability insurance does not include massage, bodywork, or somatic work, please amend your policy or purchase insurance at ABMP, here or here. If you are not in a position to obtain professional liability insurance, please contact our office.
For international students: If you are attending a training in the United States, please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org
CE credits are available for the majority of trainings and workshops. Visit the CE Credits page for availability. CE credit is awarded for the completion of live training modules or workshops. Participants must have paid a tuition fee, signed in, attended the entire seminar, completed an evaluation, and signed out in order to receive a CE certificate. Failure to sign in or out will result in forfeiture of credit for the entire course. No exceptions will be made. Partial credit is not available.
Due to the hands-on approach, it is important not to miss any of the live training modules. Sometimes life gets in the way, so if you need to miss all or part of a training module you can take it by video. A complete module taken via video is purchased for the same fee as a live module. The Certificate of Completion is awarded to those who have completed the modules live with no more than one module via video.
At this time no CE credits are available for modules by video.
Certificate of Completion
A Certificate of Completion is awarded for completion of the Foundation Training. Students must have completed all training modules, either live or by video.
NATouch Certified Practitioner
NATouch Certified Practitioner requirements include the completion of all Foundation Training modules in person, together with a combination of personal sessions, study group attendance, case consultations, and a written case study.
For more details on requirements, and to track progress towards certification, students can download a session/training log
