Practicums with Dr Aline LaPierre
Ongoing Practicums
The Practicums are open to NeuroAffective Touch graduates and current students.
The focus of the Practicum is twofold. We introduce new material that builds on and expands the knowledge presented in the Foundation Training. The Practicums help deepen your understanding of NeuroAffective Touch principles and methods and support their integration into your clinical practice. Additionally, each Practicum presents a full-session demonstration.
Each 3½-hour Practicum is live-streamed on Zoom. All registered participants automatically receive a link to the recording for review.
Practicums are recorded, and past meetings are available for purchase if you cannot attend a meeting live.
Attendance counts toward NeuroAffective Touch Certification. Please consult the Certification Requirements.
Each meeting is structured as follows:
- Ongoing Clinical Skills Development — 2 hours are devoted to introducing new material and providing the support you need to integrate touch interventions and somatic theory in your clinical practice.
- Session Demonstration and Clinical Discussion — 1½ hours are devoted to a session demonstration. This allows participants to witness a wider variety of interventions than is possible to demonstrate in the Foundation Training. We then discuss the session to integrate the interventions and principles used.
