International Hybrid / Online + In-Person 2025
Foundation Training
This training is structured to accommodate Los Angeles, London, and Sydney time zones
NeuroAffective Touch® is a somatic approach that integrates relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy with the therapeutic use of touch and somatic practices. The NeuroAffective Touch training builds a vital bridge between our verbal and nonverbal selves to address the key elements of emotional trauma, attachment repair, and developmental deficits. Our approach transcends the limitations of talk therapy or body-centered work used separately, and opens the way for post-trauma growth.
The training welcomes all professional practitioners who wish to integrate body and mind to resolve emotional trauma and relational deficits. We invite and include psychotherapists, psychologists, social workers, and pre-licensed interns; certified bodyworkers, massage, and body-centered practitioners; addiction counselors; nurses, acupuncturists, allopathic, naturopathic, and holistic doctors; movement and yoga practitioners; and coaches.
- Online Modules 1, 2, and 3 cover the foundational theory and online techniques you need to connect to your clients’ and your own body-mind. We explore self-directed intentional touch, how to work online with virtual touch, and how to fine-tune your somatic resonance. We now know that, beyond working in person, touch intentions have a reach that defies time and space.
- Each Module consists of 3 days of live-streamed lectures, demos, discussions, and breakout practices.
- We have three teaching schedules for the online M1-3: Los Angeles, London, and Sydney time zones (see below).
- In-Person Module 4 is a 5-day Touch Immersion during which we practice the touch protocols for the theory learned in the online Modules 1, 2, and 3. This Touch Immersion fully anchors the healing power of the hands-on experience.
- M4 Los Angeles, USA in-person Touch Immersion will be held Sept 19-23, 2025, in the Brentwood area of Los Angeles
- M4 Sydney, Australia in-person Touch Immersion will be held Oct 3-7, 2025. Location TBA
- M4 London, UK in-person Touch Immersion will be held Oct 29-Nov 2, 2025. Location TBA
Upon completing the requirements for the four Modules, you will receive the designation of NeuroAffective Touch Foundation Training Graduate.
